Ny VLC 3 klar med Chromecast, 8K og HDR

VLC 3.0 Vetinari er en ny stor opdatering til medieafspilleren. Nu med understøttelse af Chromecast, HDR, 8K mm.

Der er kommet en ny version af medieafspilleren VLC, og version 3.0 byder på en række nyheder.

Selv fremhæver de:

  • Hardware acceleration som default, klarer 4K og 8K afspilning
  • Understøttelse af 10 bit og HDR
  • 360-graders video og 3D audio
  • Audio passthrough for alle HD audio codecs
  • Kan streame til Chromecast, selv med formater som Chromecast ikke understøtter som standard
  • Kan afspille Java-menuer fra Blu-ray
  • Browsing af lokale netværksdrev / NAS
